Until the Mindset Changes

Dr. Hassan Khater, founder of the Al Quds Encyclopedia and a PA TV lecturer, recently appeared on PA TV, citing the Islamic tradition (Hadith) demanding genocide in the name of Islam's founder Mohammed. Khater quoted the same verse used repeatedly in sermons by terror-supporting religious leaders in the PA. He did so as part of a lecture focusing on what he described as the war of the Jews against Arabs trees.
"Mohammed said in his Hadith: The Hour [Day of Resurrection] will not arrive until you fight the Jews, [until a Jew will hide behind a rock or tree] and the rock and the tree will say: Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!'," Dr. Khater said, on prime time PA-run television.
This is the prevailing message being broadcast to the Arab street. Why would we expect Arab citizens around the world to soften their views on Israel or its supporters when the Arab political and religious leaders call for our early demise?
Arab citizens around the world should speak up in support of a pro-democracy, more tolerant world unless they only want to be viewed as religions zealots out to murder anyone who doesn't agree with their world view. Their silence does not make it appear as if they don't support the terrorists, it foments the hatred of the terrorists by emboldening them. After all, if you are violent and evil and if your own people don't speak against you every day, you will think you are being given permission to continue acts of violence and hatred.
Western nations should also speak up. A message of "come and kill him" should be condemned by all. Of course most of the world has had an anti-Israel, anti-American view lately. Most countries are silent, either for fear of being attacked if they speak out, or they genuinely believe that Americans and Israelis are evil.
People around the world will increasingly become afraid of speaking out against the "religion of peace" for fear of being murdered like Van Gogh

Van Gogh released a movie showing the brutal treatment of women under the "religion of peace" and paid the ultimate price.
Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende called on the Dutch people to remain calm.
"Nothing is known about the motive," he said in a written statement. "I want to call on everyone not to jump to far-reaching conclusions. The facts must first be carefully weighed so let's allow the investigators to do their jobs."
Balkenende praised Van Gogh as a proponent of free speech who had "outspoken opinions."
"It would be unacceptable if a difference of opinion led to this brutal murder," he said.
Don't jump to conclusions? An Arab shoots a man who wrote against Muslim violence and I guess we're just supposed to think that maybe Van Gogh was just having an affair with his wife or something like that.
A witness who lives in the neighborhood heard six shots, and saw the man concealing a gun. She said he walked away slowly, spoke to someone at the edge of the park, and then ran.
"He was walking slowly, like he was trying to be cool," she said, describing him as wearing a long beard and Islamic garb. "He was either an Arabic man or someone disguised as a Muslim," she said.
Well, I guess if you were going to kill someone and wanted to throw off the police you could dress up as a Muslim. Nowadays this would be considered normal and people would come to the conclusion that whoever was killed probably asked for it by speaking out against Muslims .
Even praying for peace can land you a death sentence as one Imam found out:
http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=42148
A Muslim cleric who offered prayers of peace was abducted and had his throat slit by Islamic radicals in Western India, near Pakistan.
The terrorists were upset by the imam's prayers at the local Jamia mosque in the town of Danwakote in Rajouri district, Express India reported.
Yeah, I bet they were probably totally ticked off at the Imam for suggesting that we can all live in peace.
Unless the Arab street speaks out loud and clear. we can expect the violence to get worse every day. I guarantee you this, if Arabs/Muslims do not speak out against the violence being inflicted on the rest of the world they will be viewed as the enemy. Even the most secular, inclusive, tolerant liberal will cross the street when they see and Arab or Muslim looking individual.
The liberals are starting to realize their age old argument against the Christians "well you did the Crusades" is wearing thin. Not since the Crusades have Christians attacked another religious region en masse out of perceived religious intolerance. Muslims have been murdering Jews, Christians and anyone else who doesn't convert to Islam since Mohammed walked the earth. The death toll goes over 10s of thousands almost yearly, close to millions some years.
Non-Muslims have been waiting patiently for the Muslims to stand up and call for end to the violence around the world. Non-Muslims have been dying while waiting patiently.
I have no anger at the Muslim religion or the Muslim people. I'm frusterated at both for not tolerating non-Muslims. I'm frusterated at their obvious silence when terrorists use Muhammed to justify their murder of innocent human beings around the world.
If non-violent Muslims are afraid to speak out for fear of being murdered they should say so or band together against the violent thugs whom they claim are "hijacking" their religion. If I hear one more Muslim on TV or the radio make the claim "the terrorists don't represent the Islamic faith" I'm going to scream. Whom do they represent? It is estimated that there are over 100 million Muslims who are sympathetic to the terrorist mindset.
If that doesn't represent a high enough number of people that we should be scared of I can't imagine what will. Once again I say, as long as the Muslim people don't speak out against the violence, violence is going to get much worse.
