I'm glad to see that sanity won out over secularism this election. The liberals, which now include most Democrats and many Republicans in name only, have tried to send a message that they have the pulse of the country between their fingers.
Obviously they're wrong.
I think I'll refer to those types of folks as "Moral Modernists or MMs" from now on.
Now they're switching to their new message which is "we're moral too".

What they don't understand though is that morality actually means something. It's not something you just throw as a "me too" comment. Just because you believe it's unfair for people to get hit with dodgeballs, doesn't mean you understand what the majority of this country is trying to live up to one day at a time.
The Bible says "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God".
Modern Moralist translation "we're all dirty, so don't pretend you're any better than the rest of us".
You can see it by their attacks on Conservatives. They point to inappropriate behavior by someone in power, point their fingers and yell from the tallest building until that Conservative cowers away. MMs are allowed to do what they want, when they want, because in their opinions they are being honest and open about their behavior. Bill Clinton had so many affairs, attempted affairs and rapes I bet you ten to one that most of you don't know that you couldn't count them on both your hands. Yet the country elected him twice.
MMs lie, cheat and steal, when and where they can, and just say "well, everyone does it, so what's the big deal".
Perversion, adultery, theft and more...all part of the MM lifestyle.
The difference between a MM and a person that is really trying to become more moral every day is large enough to drive a truck through. I'm not saying I'm any better than anyone, after all, we're all God's children. What I'm saying is that what we are supposed to do is become more moral every day. We are supposed to wash our souls with God's love and guidance, and change, to stop doing the things that we know he doesn't want us to do.
MMs on the other hand believe that we should just recognize and accept our shortcomings, not actually do something about them.
> We're supposed to recognize that homosexuality is normal.
> We're supposed to recognize that a woman's "choice" takes precedence over the unborn human's life.
> We're supposed to recognize that "if it feels good, do it".
> We're supposed to recognize that pedophiles, murderers, rapists and other criminals are people too and deserve to walk the earth with the rest of society with almost unlimited chances to continue their crimes, as long as they say "I'm sorry" after every time they're caught.
I know, I know, "Let ye who have not sinned cast the first stone". True enough, but I also know I have to try and make my life more moral one day at a time. I have fought plenty of misgivings like alcohol, drugs, stealing, lying and more. That's the point, I have fought and continue to fight those types of things that aren't glorious and keep me from the true glory of God.
The point is, most of America is still made up of moral, righteous, religious and moral individuals. America was founded by moral, religious, righteous and honorable men who were supported by moral, righteous, religious and honorable women.
Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Adams and many other great men and women put faith first in their lives.
John Adams said "I have long been settled in my opinion, that neither Philosophy, nor Religion, nor Morality, nor Wisdom, nor Interest, will ever govern nations or Parties against their Vanity, their Pride, their Resentment or Revenge, or their Avarice or Ambition. Nothing but Force and Power and Strength can restrain them." -- letter to Thomas Jefferson, 9 October 1787.
In other words, sometimes you just have to stand up for what you have to believe and fight for it. Sometimes watching from the sidelines and complaining or judging just doesn't cut it.
We are under attack. Not just from the Muslamists who want us to pray to their God, but from MMs who want us to accept their way of life.
I think Americans are finally realizing that if you don't stand up for what you believe in, others will come along and tell you what you will see, hear and participate in. This immorality and world view doesn't just affect us, it affects our children. The MMs are rewriting history to make our founding fathers just a bunch of racist, arrogant, woman hating individuals who were out of touch so many years ago. MMs want to take God out of everything in our lives and replace him with music and the arts, which to them are much more intellectual anyway. They are trying to pass laws that make immorality not just legal, but an accepted lifestyle.
God says to watch out for our words and our thoughts, lest we think we're better than others.
He doesn't say to ignore evil and let it grow.
The Dems message for the next four years will be "we are moral people too".
They will say how it is immoral to let people starve in America.
They will say that it is immoral to have low wages in America.
They will say it is immoral for Republicans to still want to spray blacks with hoses and keep them away from voting.
They will say it is immoral to take away a woman's right to "choose" what is best for her body.
They will say it is immoral to prevent homosexual couples from sharing their love for each other.
The Dems and MMs will redefine morality. They know they need to in order to compete on moral turf, because that is obviously what won this election.
They say that President Bush doesn't have a mandate.
So why have they changed their message from "wrong war, wrong time, wrong place" to "we're moral too"?
