Greenday is up for a Grammy with their song "American Idiot". Why is this song such a great hit? Because the youth of our country love these idiots who write such garbage.
These idiots sing about "propaganda" as if they are warning us of impending doom that will be inflicted on us unless we pay attention to them. The only problem with their argument is they are the ones using propaganda. Check the definition:
propaganda - information that is spread for the purpose of promoting some cause
What might their cause be? Let's see what their intelligent lyrics have to say:

New media? You mean the one telling the truth? I'm sure they love the BBC, a news agency that has the British so ticked off they're ready to storm the doors for their bias. I know, they love the left wing agenda of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and all the others who have been giving us one-sided news to this day. Don't you find it interesting that they don't support the "revolution" that is going on against media bias? You would think these makeup wearing pretend revolutionaries would be dancing in the streets now that there are information services offering differing viewpoints.
Nope, they just want you to listen to their propaganda and learn the supposed truth on what's really going on.
