Sex is the Choice
There is a myth that abortion rights came about because of a need for a woman's right to choose whether or not to bring a child to term. The Roe v. Wade case did not conclude that a woman has a right to an abortion. The decision was that she has a "right to privacy" based on the case Griswold v. Connecticut. Griswold v. Connecticut was a case where a Planned Parenthood Executive Director sued for the right to counsel married couples about contraceptive issues.
1 - The moment of conception is the beginning of life
- Nobody disputes this point. Scientists and politicians only dispute the point at which the baby is "viable". This term applied to humans is the point which a baby can live on its own. So the current argument isn't whether or not a baby is a human being, it's when a baby can live outside the womb by itself.
2 - "I wouldn't do it, but I don't have the right to tell others what to do"
- I wouldn't rape or murder either, but I do have a right to tell others that it's not right to do that. Human beings deserve our protection.
Don't leave this important issue to others. From this point forward, now that you know the truth, every time you hear about an abortion you will know that you are partially responsible by your silence. A vote not cast is a vote cast.
3 - The ProAbortion last stand is rape, incest or the health of the woman. This argument is used to keep the door open for all abortions, including abortion on demand.
4 - This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. Both parties have ProLife representatives. If you vote Democrat, vote for a ProLife Democrat. If you vote Republican, vote for a ProLife Republican.
5 - We need to have compassion for the unborn human being. This person deserves a chance to live. This person deserves the "unalienable Rights" promised to him/her in the Declaration of Independence, "that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".
A woman's right to choose? Chose what? The choice is life or death for a human being.
Our children know. They know from the moment they ask "where do babies come from?" or "what is pregnant?"
You decide. You do every time you vote.
