Don't Ask Don't Tell
Liberals have been incensed over the "don't ask, don't tell" program with the military. In case you don't know, it's a policy that states that a homosexual person serving in the military need not state his/her sexual preference. It was assumed that a homosexual could be a security risk since they would be hiding an important part of their lives from investigators.
You can understand why mankind might not like this kind of policy since it seems to discriminate against those without actual proof of danger to America. One could argue though that a person with a sexual deviation such as homosexuality might not be stable enough to put into a position of secrecy since that type of sexual preference is not "normal".
Along comes discrimination against Christians. It's the new fad. Everywhere Christians are being questioned about their "religiosity". We are thrown into the category of "extremists", with some people saying that Christians are not far behind or are equal in category to terrorists. "Remember the Crusades!" is their rallying cry to push Christians into the Nazi category. Ted Turner called President Bush a Nazi, moveon.org did it and so have many others. So Christians are either trying to bring back the Crusades, the Inquisition or click their heels together with a happy Sieg Heil!
So now we Christians and conservatives have to keep our mouths shut lest we be expunged from our places of employment. Liberals always cry about "freedom of choice" and "freedom of speech" but as I have shown in my many articles, they believe in neither when it comes to anyone who disagrees with them. Not only do they not believe in just agreeing to disagree, they take it to the next level of actually firing, censuring or passing over those with whom they disagree. Richard Sternberg was nudged out of his office at the Smithsonian after he included a review/essay in the journal published at the Smithsonian.

"Meyer's article, "The Origin of Biological Information and the Higher Taxonomic Categories," cites mainstream biologists and paleontologists from schools such as the University of Chicago, Yale, Cambridge and Oxford who are critical of certain aspects of Darwinism."
The "experts" at the Smithsonian made intellectual comments to support their argument. Comments such as:
"I think you are a religiously motivated person and you have dragged down the Proceedings because of your religiously motivated agenda."
"whether Sternberg was a religious fundamentalist"
"asked if Sternberg was affiliated with or belonged to any religious organization"
"asked where Sternberg stood politically"
"Is he a right-winger?"
"What is his political affiliation?"
And last but not least "There are Christians here, but they keep their heads down"
Now let's look at freedom of choice. Not that the last bit didn't have anything to do with choice. After all, we don't have the choice of making statements in support of our beliefs. How about other choices though?
Schools - We should have the right to choose whether or not we want our children to participate in their public indoctrination of sex and liberal beliefs. But nooo, they refuse to allow vouchers to go to those who want to put their children in private schools. Do their children go to public schools? Nope, many liberals put their kids in private schools.
Social Security - Let people invest their own money if they want. Last week a liberal said that "people make bad choices with their money and they need to be forced to set aside money for their elderly years". Forced, yeah, that must be another liberal word for "choice".
Health Care - The liberals refuse to allow tort reform to stop the insane lawsuits that have caused so many hospitals to go out of business. Why do people think health care is so expensive in America? The hospitals and doctors have to pay for insurance just like we do, but their fees are much higher than ours & they are being driven out of business. One great example was when Senator John Edwards sued hospitals for millions of dollars for them having caused Cerebral Palsy by not performing C-Sections. Many millions were paid out to his clients on science that was far from proven. To this day not one shred of evidence supports or supported his claims, yet we pay for his successes with higher health care costs. There are plenty of choices pertaining to health care where liberals control us. Why can't we have the ability to buy competitive health coverage as private citizens or as self-employed individuals? Anyone who has had to purchase health insurance outside of employment through a major company knows the bills and lack of coverage that I am speaking of. It sucks!
Faith based initiatives - Liberals only want secularists who preach the agenda of freedom from religion to be able to mentor or help people in need. If a religious group accepts funds for supporting the public in any way there better not be any mention of the horrible word "God" that goes along with it. It's almost like what happened last week with Jerry Falwell and the Council on American Islamic Relations, otherwise known as "Council on we could care less about your Christian faith and religion". CAIR was ticked because Jerry Falwell made some statement how millions of Muslims in areas hit by the Tsunami have probably never heard of Jesus and an opportunity was there for Christians to bring the word of God to them along with food and aid packets. The CAIR rep. said that it was absurd that Muslims haven't heard about the great "prophet" Jesus. Mr. Falwell should have called the rep. out on that statement since "prophet" doesn't mean savior and there's no way Muslims in the affected areas know anything about the "savior" Jesus since Muslims don't believe that Jesus is God.
Abstinence - Yeah right. Like a liberal will ever preach anything that has to do with keeping it in their pants. They want choices like condoms, birth control and how to perform oral sex in our public schools. They want our children to be able to get all of the above without parental notification. Think these comments are extreme? Come on, many of you reading this know this first hand! You were offered condoms, birth control and sex training in school and of course they are offering the same to your children.
So our fun-loving so-called liberal friends really don't want "freedom of choice" or "freedom of speech". They want their choices to be our choices no matter what. If we try to pull away from their global vision we are called insensitive, racist and evil.
They're the ones who are banning the books. They're the ones who are insensitive. They're the ones stopping us from making real choices like where our children go to school, what they will learn, what they will believe, what they show our kids on TV, what they play to our kids on the radio, what our kids will learn about sex, what they will learn about religion, what they will learn about the environment and so on.
Yet they do a great job of making it seem as if it's the other way around.
